I created a lamp research page that surveys lamp archetypes and functions to understand how lighting can be manipulated through design.

Low-Fidelity Models

Two low-fidelity models were created, both illustrating different design directions of my final concept. I ended up choosing the rectangular diffuser on the foam model and the stand shape of the clay model.

Mid-Fidelity Model

I then created a mid-fidelity model with working circuitry. I made the stand a little more rectangular similar to the top and decided that I wanted the color effect to be inverted, so the diffuser would be orange with yellow streamlines.
